When I was growing up I was fascinated by my teachers and their books, agendas and one the the biggest things writing on the chalkboard. Ooh wee that my fantasy to write on the chalkboard. As a youngster I wanted to have students and give them lessons that I could teach them.

One day my parents finally bought me a chalkboard and I would try and gather my little brother to be a student , that didn't last long. It would be a long time later that I realize I have a passion for providing information to people. I'm just realizing that my dreams of being a teacher has always been there and that I'm not the lady in elementary classroom with twenty children. I'm the lady that is able to take information I've learned and teach my friends and fellow business associates things that I've learned that may benefit something that they are doing. My folks are pretty appreciative of my efforts :)

Business Photos : The Need for Them

Very earlier on in our journey of photography we begin capturing behind the scene of events and capturing portfolio building images for vendors. I learned early on the importance of having clean crisp images for your brand and services . I also learned that good images will sell your product or service.

So I begin to capture images that I could provide to vendors (at an event) to assist them in building their brand and service. It also helped in establishing good working relationships and networking. They would pass your name to other people that were looking for a good reliable photographer.

Side Note: Look at any of your favorite brands and look how they present their products and services to you. When looking at your favorite brands you don’t see their service or products represented with dark, grainy low quality images.

For record neither should you!

Investing quality images is a must when building your business brand & service.

My Story…

Most of my creative life I have constantly created products and services and thought that Wow this is great, but I never had a clear vision on who would this be good for … Oh yes, your family and friends are your 1st go to .. and they think everything you create is great and yes… you are on your way to the next million dollar idea… and next thing you know you are stockpiling product and you have no definite person to buy this stuff. In my early days, I use to craft up and sew a lot of products I did many trade shows and presented my items… sometimes success more times not so successful… Things were slow folks would pass by and even tell you how nice it is… , but no purchase so back home again with all the stuff you came with. Sooo it brings me to Target… Yes, what you do is great Yes what you do is awesome… That product will be great to have for the right person… So it's up to you to do the research.. find out who is your Target Audience… Who could use your product and or service… What problem are you solving and who is it that has the product… So its time to go to work… Find out who ‘s buying what your selling

Portfolios & Perspectives Workshop - One year Ago

One year ago today we hosted our very first workshop entitled Portfolios and Perspectives!!! This day was such a special one where it brought together my love for photography and event design!!! AJs Catering Atlanta, GA provided the delicious delights and dynamic speakers Vanessa Parker The PinkBoss Helena Paschal Correlations, LLC-Event Training provided the attendees with solid information to build their businesses... and Me!! All I could do is smile from ear to ear.... When you see a vision come to life and everything came together!!!! Thankful for all the participates and staff!!!! More to Come! Let's build Together! 

Cardi B thanks for Inspiring me!

We recently hosted our Portfolio & Perspectives Style Shoot Workshop in Atlanta, Georgia

As we were busy styling up our main table for seating we were inspired... So here goes my story of Inspiration! 

So those who are not familiar with the rap star Cardi B she has been headlining blogs, news outlets and she was made super popular by her authentic style on Instagram. This young female rapper just recently dropped her debut album and when I saw the cover art I was so inspired.

I absolutely love loud colors they scream happiness to me. So with the inspiration of the album art cover, I was inspired to design my recent table scape for our Portfolios & Perspectives Event Design Workshop around the inspiration of the album cover. Searched my mind and took an immediate inventory of items already owned that I can pull this look together. Just a few basics and we got what we envision the color palette that screams fun!

This was a fun table scape to put together! I love lots of colors its screams happiness. 

So I hope you are able to feel the joy in the images as we were excited about creating
